TOURISM

Tourism is defined as travel that people do out of their regular
environment for periods of time less than 12 months for
pleasure, business or other purposes. The tourism industry in
British Columbia consists of both traveling within the province or
into BC from elsewhere. Although many of us have been
"tourists" at some point in our lives, defining what tourism actually
is can be difficult.
